Hawk Helium sticks and HSP platform value leader.

I know this post is a bit old but just wanted to share my experience. I bought Hawk Minis after not loving climbing spurs for a couple years. I dismissed the straps that came with the heliums and got amsteel daisy chains which worked and were very compact however if the daisy chain loop didn’t hit the button perfectly it was a bit loud sometimes tilting the bottom of the stick out too reach the next tightest loop and wrenching the stick back to plumb. I saw this post scrolling through the site when I was looking at adding aiders, and I’ll say I wish I had tried the straps without the buckle earlier. So far it’s worked wonderfully (which has only been once so far).
