I got one of these the other day and put it together. first impression is its a bit heavy for a mobile, but I think it will serve its purpose well, especially at a stand I may want to leave set up all season. its 7 lbs, without the pad. Real heavy duty, and it pivots. it clearly says not to use it other than at ground height of course, I haven't tried it yet, but for 40 bucks im happy with it. I use ameristeps on a rope for my mobile setup, but im certain it will be good for a fixed location.
 
Where does it pivot from? Be careful on that thing. It may be only me but I dont like things that pivot or move on me in a tree.
