Hello all,

I have been reading saddle hunter for about a month or so trying to decide if i wanted a saddle or not. I had my back fused 3 years ago and can not seem to stay confortable in my LW lock on. I get fidgety after 20 or so minuets due to some back pain.

Well I pulled the trigger last week and bought the Web. I did try it in a tree in my yard from the ground yesterday. All I can say is WOW. I can not get over how well this thing supports my lower back. The seat is amazing also. I already have switched out the straps for climbing ropes and Ropeman 1 ascenders. I spent a good 30-40 min in it, just pulling my bow back in different position, getting use to rotating it on the bridge.
I think I bought too narrow of a sling for my bridge. Its only 8mm wide. The weight rating is more than enough, I just see most slings set up to be wilder than what I have already. I wonder if a wider sling for my bridge would make it pivot easier or harder...HMMMMM

Well after my initial sit in the yard I am convinced that my back and my butt are going to be much happier and I will be able to sit longer in the stand.

I can also see why so many people say they have a hard time staying awake in the web. It's so easy to lean forward and rest you head on the bridge and rope and take a little snooz!

Peace!

Welcome to the site! :D I'm glad you took the plunge!
