Well I’ve been researching saddle hunting for a few months now. I currently have a modified sit drag paired with a rch. I also purchased the predator platform, tether and recliner from tethrd. I built this to try it out before pulling the trigger on a permanent saddle due to my own fears of safety. Now I’m hooked, selling all of my stands other than my double stands, so I can sit with my sons and “hunt”aka nap time, with them.
I plan on doing a diy hunt somewhere in this great country in search of that record book buck so if anyone wants to get together I am definitely interested. I have never been so excited to hunt this year. I almost quit hunting this year due to being bored sitting around waiting on deer. Now I have my mobile setup and am more ready than ever. Glad to have found you all who like to be weird and walk around and hang from trees like me.
