A while back, there was a link to a Youtube video where the guy absolutely abused a recurve (maybe a Galaxy Black Ember or a Black Hunter??). The dud beat the thing against pretty much everything that was solid. He dry fired it over and over...it was scary impressive.
I have a friend new to trad bows and wants to buy a bow. I suggested a Samick Sage but I'd like for him to see that video, too.

Galaxy Ember

If you guys havent already, you have to check out the Galaxy Ember (https://www.lancasterarchery.com/galaxy-ember-60-takedown-recurve-bow.html). Excellent little budget recurve. Shoots and handles very well. Tough as nails too! Ive been super impressed with it. I ended up buying the longbow...
