Says rated and pretty inexpensive, would this be a good choice? Even if I had to re-tie an eye?

Found in the description: "This static rope can not be a professional main rope for climbing"

the one star review says alot: "No safety ratings, no CE codes, no UIAA certifications, and was closer to 7mm than 8mm. This is NOT a climbing rope in ANY sense of the word, not for rock climbing, not for lead climbing, and not for arborist work. This rope ( if you want to call it that ) is NOT rated for life support."

Nope. Spend the extra cash and get a quality well known brand.

Thanks I didn’t see that

When you are talking your life literally hanging in the balance, climbing equipment is not the place to pinch a penny.

I won’t buy any gear off amazon. Too much cheap Chinese knock off crap.

Best advice is hit up an arborist supply store. Next to that a rock climbing type store. Last but definitely not least, a trustworthy online retailer recommended by someone here.
