How I tie a stronger Prussik knot.

Yes Titan is the product I found. Seems everything I read suggest triple fishermans knot for making loops. Is that what your doing, or are you using the figure 8?
Yes triple fishermans knot is reccomended for making a loop...as in a continuous loop...as in tying the two ends of a length of cord together.

For a loop on one end of the line...as in making a rope tether...I used a double figure 8 loop backed up with a double overhand knot.

Can I use the same set up as my linesman rope? I like the weight savings

Having to use two hands to adjust my Lineman's belt SUCKS to me.
So much so that for a while I chose to use my Ropeman on my LB instead of my tether.

Yeah I still haven't got a ropeman. That requires you to stay with a bigger rope right? So I do that now

The Treespider vertical climbing belt works one handed and is lighter than a ropeman and thick rope. (9oz without biners) Only downside I have found is it can get twisted.

Back on this Prusik topic....Ex Umbra, do you not like Blake's Hitches? They work much better for me. Never tried it on skinny rope though

Triple fisherman's knot ? I made my prussic loops with double fisherman's knots and they seem rock solid. Do you have a picture of the triple fisherman's knot ? Do you use a double fisherman's knot ?
