Looking at folks pics got me to thinking about it. I just got the rest of mine up this past weekend so it is going to be a bit before they get checked again. But then I thought about it some more. Took me three days to hang cams on 8 spots and totaled just shy of 23 miles on foot. The plan was always to mostly let 'em soak rather than running them regular or semi regular. Almost wish I hadnt added that distance up now, lol.

When I want to get intentional about getting camera intel I cluster bomb them. I'll put a dozen cameras or so in all the conspicuous travel areas I can find where I'm trying to find whatever I'm trying to find, and let them soak 6-8 weeks. That kinda varies but that typically looks like a 1-2 mile loop.

I don't much do that anymore I kinda just carry a camera with me a lot of the times and if I run into something interesting I put it up, and when I happen to swing back through I pick it up. Pro tip for that method write things down. I had to forget a couple before I figured that one out.
