I realize we like this 22-23 KN number for our life safety rope. I was experimenting with some accessory cord that’s on one end of my camping hammock (which clearly holds my body weight). No I’m not hunting with this, but it looks to be around 6mm and rates just over 7 KN. 1641 lbs...sounds like enough but obviously we have those 22-23 KN ratings for a reason as rock climbers and arborists experience distances of fall greater than we would. I’m just asking...would you use a 7 KN rope as your friction hitch or would you try to find something with some more grrrr?

I'd get jammy cord or trc.

It's stronger than a ropeman.

I wouldn't. In fact I just ordered an 8mm sewn prussik made from cord rated for 8,000 lbs to replace what came on my tether that is rated for 2,760 lbs.

I already switched it off my tether for some 8mm stuff I was using for rope mods.

From comments some ladies have said over the years, size “doesn’t” matter.... apparently it is the motion in the tether

Bee-line maybe? Wespur carries it if so.
Correct.
