Hi everybody! I've found myself lurking here quite a bit lately, so I figured I might as well go ahead and join. I'm also on the Hunting Beast some, and I've noticed some familar names on here. What's that saying about birds of a feather?:)

I don't have a saddle at this point, but with all the buzz lately, like many folks I suppose, I've been getting more and more interested in trying one. I've been watching videos by DIY Sportsman, G2 Outdoors , and some others as well, and even more so since I read the article by Greg Staggs called " Saddle Up and Strike." I thought it was very well written and had good illustrations on how to make the different shots ect. I guess seeing all that info put together in one place like that was a selling point for me, so Greg if you happen to be on here, Thank you sir!

I'm in the middle of a total home renovation on a house I'm planning to sell, and common sense and my wife both tell me that now is not a good time for me to be tinkering with something new. My hunting time looks a little slim for this fall, so I'll probably just be carrying my modified sandcast Lone Wolf and cut down Hawk Heliums. But I'll be keeping an eye on the classifieds, and maybe, just maybe, I'll find a deal that's to good to pass up.;)
