It is HARD for me to remember the flexibility we have with the Saddle.
I keep finding myself looking for straight trees that don't have low limbs...certain diameter etc...
I just prepped two trees that would have been unusable with any Tree Stand but will be excellent with a Saddle and innovative placement of steps.

There is a ridge that I hunt that has trails on the West and East side with about a 5-10 yard strip of odd trees at the very top of the ridge.
I just came across this picture (the post said it was a NewTribe photo).
This doesn't look like a very realistic set up, but it DID give me some ideas on some sets I could do on this ridge.
