I have received access to a new property. I did a hang and hunt on Saturday morning and had a 140” 10 point just out of bow range. I am curious how you guys go about scouting a property this time of year without doing too much intrusion. I’m primarily looking for primary scrapes, bedding areas and potential funnels for the rut. I’ve attached a map below. The property is the piece with the stand markers. The fields are planted in corn this year. I was thinking about donning my scent lok and going for a stroll while it rains this week. What would you guys do? @John Eberhart

I pick my spot I want to go to on the map. I take my time getting there, looking for sign as I go. Sometimes I will go a bit out of my way.mapstudy.PNGStudy two.PNG
