My dad picked up a set of these at Deerfest. They're called Stand Mitts. Although they are designed to be mounted on stand rails, they also have velcro straps to go on the thighs. Might be useful for saddles and rock harnesses setups because the standard muffs are in the same spot as the tether hookup. I'll do some more testing throughout the season and post a review, but just wanted to throw it out there for those who might be interested.

My initial thoughts are that they'll be warm, but the act of putting your hands in might tend to slide the straps down the thighs. I'm also curious to see how well they stay up while walking. Perhaps I can modify if needed so they hook around the rock harness leg loops to keep them in place.

I like it too. Can't wait to hear how they work out.

I like these. I hate shooting with gloves just never felt good. These would be good so I would not have to take them off instead just slide hands out. I would assume they could be attached to the leg straps. Might have to order these.

I have no experience with any saddle except for Trophyline so I'm not sure if this would be possible with other styles. I do think these would attach nicely to the webbing loops around the waist portion of a TL saddle.
