Long story short I am thinking about getting the predator platform. I think I'm going to prefer the bigger platform then the ring of steps when it comes to comfort. However I don't really want to give up the extra mobility of not having the ring of steps. So what I'm thinking is getting one or 2 (2 for bigger trees) of the steps people use to make their ring of steps and putting them on the same strap that the predator uses (opposite side of the tree) so I'll still be able to step the other side of the tree if need and keep the comfort of the bigger platform.

I put one Ameritep strap-on step on the Predator strap on my strong side and on my weak side is the top step of my climbing system. All I need is those single steps on each side in order to shoot 360. I really like that set up.
