Jacket and saddle

How are you guys wearing your jacket and saddle? Jacket under saddle belt or saddle over jacket?

I Have the sitka fanatic system and love it - I really enjoy the handmuff pocket that is built in - I'd like to still be able to use it!

I mostly wear coveralls when it gets cold, but even if I'm wearing a jacket I wear the saddle over top of everything. I walk in wearing the saddle, take it off at the tree or 100 yards away, put on my stuff and put the saddle back on top.

I'm in the aero hunter. I think that with my bridge being so long it would work well under the jacket with the bridge coming out and around the jacket

How do you mean having it come out and around? Out of the pockets? Or just jacket draped around?

I'm the same. However I use a hand muff separately. That way I can position it where I need it.

I used to use a hand muff. I actually ended up shorting the strap all the way and connecting it around my bridge. really worked well this way!

Sorry for not being more descriptive. I wear bibs with a jacket over them - I can get the aero's belt right around my waist line, and the way I have the aero set up, I'm able to have my bridge come out from below the bottom of the jacket and basically around. Tough to describe but I'll take some pictures tomorrow from the stand to show y'all.

Pics would be cool! If you can wear the saddle "under" your jacket I think that would be the way to go. If you need to remove the jacket, or put it on after you're in stand it should be easy then. I can put a jacket on in the stand if I use my linemans belt, but I've seen some guys saying they have trouble doing so.

So the saddle can definitely go under my jacket. It bunches up a tad, but doesn't effect anything other than making me look 400lbs!! The saddle belt is around my waist with the bridge coming out and around the jacket. Works well!!
