Journal???????

I just log each hunt in my google calendar which is where the rest of my life is organized anyway. I just color code it so it sticks out and type in the basics of the hunt (locations, deer encounters, weather, etc) It has really helped me see when the pre-rut, rut, and all those phases start in my area. I look back and saw every year I kill deer back to back on 11/19 and 11/20. now I just make sure I am in the woods in my great spots those days. its working so far. I would have never realized that if I didn't log it.

There are some podcasts on the topic by Mr. Warren Womack. And if you're on Instagram, look him up. He posts daily "on this day in xxxx" pictures that are really neat to see. He had one earlier this week that was 47 years ago.

His handle on here is @WHW. It looks like one of the podcasts is specifically about journaling. I can't remember if I've listened to that or not. The ones I remember really liking were on Southern Ground Hunting and it was called the "Local Legends" series and he was on there and journaling was one of the topics.
