Kayak Cam Cleat on Sicks

@peteherbst I would be worried about the weight rating of something like that. Holding an anchor is one thing but hanging your body off of it time and time again is a whole other matter

I have not had any issues. I use 1/4" Amsteel rope around the tree through the cleat and then I tie two half hitches around the the rope again. They go up pretty quick. If you do a search you find others who have done it as well.

I used them on my DIY sticks. No problems at all...and I do one or two once over knots anyway.

Ive seen this in a few other posts , I was wondering what the cams are made of , they say composite , that could mean a lot of things

No I got them from Mcmaster Carr, just black flat socket cap screws.
