Keeping versa button with cam cleat.

I want to keep the LW button on my helium. I hoping to climb big trees and normal sized trees and thought it would be easy to switch out ropes. Will it work with the cleat below the button? How about above or will it twist the stick? Thanks!
BTW my stick is uncut.
