After following the Kestrel introduction thread for 3 months and 2,873,103 posts I knew it must be special. I ordered one and waited. The day it arrived my brother was visiting. He stared at it with that inquisitive scowl that we have all seen at least a few times since we became saddle hunters. I sent it home with him so he could check it out. I got it back and yesterday evening took it to my saddle tree in the back yard. Hats off to Boudreaux for his involvement and to New Tribe. This is a fine piece of equipment. I've noticed several people taking issue with the lineman's loops being too far back. Not a problem. I could go on and on about this saddle and never utter a single negative thing but................... Since I'm on the ProStaff over at Trophyline I should keep it short.

I only wish the molle loops were not as tight and small as they are ... other than that the kestrel is super nice ... still can’t leave the TL home tho. I’d say out of 30 sits this season, 15 in the kestrel and 15 in TL leather road trips ... kestrel 0 kills and TL 3 kills. I’m a bit superstitious so I’m sticking with my road trips as of now. But after having sellers remorse I will be buying another kestrel before next season! Hats off to New Tribe

I will add some suspenders, I think the rope suspenders they huck used would work great. I have no butt however I do have love handles so it would ride down while I hiked to my tree.

The molle loops are a bit tight. They work well with the accessories sold for them but it isn’t easy to hook something into.
Hey huck, what are your responsibilities as a pro staff member at trophyline. Definitely not product development.
