Kryptek aegis bibs and jacket, anyone?

My current bibs and jacket need replacing. I was looking at the kryptek aegis in Highlander camo.

Manly for PA/NJ whitetail, mostly archery, hunting from Sept through Feb

Looking for quiet, quality and ability to stay warm. Not a camo snob, but I like lighter patterns.

Has anyone used these and any first hand input on them?

Thx

Last year was the first year I ran them here in Michigan. Pretty quiet in my opinion, only warm them in the single teens when I knew I was gonna be sitting still, no way I would wear them trying to still hunt acouple of miles. Wearing em to a spot I wouldn't wear the jacket and had the bibs open so I wouldn't overheat, I also just a base layer under em and felt fine sitting for hours. I lucked out on buying mine, found a guy selling the set for $175 instead of having to pay $600.

Thanks for the info. I am close to purchasing the bibs, jacket and their puffy. Sounds like they will meet my needs for later season hunting. $175, that was quite the deal!

Guy I bought from said he was too warm wearing em in early November and he didn't hunt late season. I have 3 different sets of kryptek and I've been pretty happy so far.

They are very warm, I find them a bit noisy for bowhunting.

Thanks for the input on your experience.

I spoke to Kryptek and the person said the kryptek aegis is quiet, but not as quiet as their fleece. I did mention that I primarily archery hunt. Decisions, decisions.

@sojourner, did you ever pickup the kryptek aegis bibs and jacket and if so how did they work out in the low temps? I decided I'm treating myself to a good quality set of cold weather gear and saw a few posts recommending krptek so I'm looking into them along with sitka. Would like to hear more about kryptek from us tree hangers.

I used the vellus this season and was very happy with it,I bought the ageis after season for real cold weather and haven’t had in the tree yet. It is alittle noisy but not too bad. I think it will be ok and seems like it will keep ya toasty

What state do you hunt in? I hunt NY and Conn and late season temps get into the high teens and low 20's sometimes.

I’m in se. Pa and it can get plenty cold here. Lol
