Anyone try the kuiu pro pant with knee pads for saddle hunting?

I did see them. I have a bag coming from them next week. It will be my first product from them. All their stuff seems pretty pricey in the clothing lines.
 
I have the sitka pants with kneepads, can't remember the model. The pads in them are fine for kneeling on the ground, but not quite up to snuff for saddling. I'm gonna make a pair from close cell foam or grab some football knee pads to stick in there. It is a nice thing not having to wear external knee pads though
 
I haven't tried those pants specifically, but I do have a pair of sitka pants that are similar with the knee pads. They work great. I personally do not need a lot for a knee pad.
 
I have heard from others on the forum that the pads are fine but the pant material around the pads do not hold up very well against the tree bark.

I don't like a big knee pads either that's why I was checking these out

I don’t have the pro pant but have the chinook and alpine with knee pads. I never felt the need for knee pads and surely wasn’t gonna add another piece of gear. The Kuiu pad isn’t much but better than just pants. It is perfect for me. I never had a problem with the pants tearing around the pad. The ones I got are the new pads so maybe it was the older ones that had issues. They were camo. The new ones are black. Been using for 2 seasons now.
