Want to make lifelines for my son and I. Just want some advice in regards to inexpensive but still safe. Thanks.
 
How long? You could get some good 11mm static line and some 8mm accessory line for a prusik knot. Wouldn't be that much. Oh does he have a harness?

Thinking 30 feet. Yes he has a harness. Was looking at Millenium lifeline and it's 30' and only 29.99. Might as well just get that lol. Can't really build for much cheaper.
 
You're probably right, if you were gonna build a few it might pay off.

How old is your son? And are you two hunting out of the same stand, Like a 2 person ladder stand?
