lineman rope/tree tether?

I was curious where you prefer to buy your rope from for a linemans belt and tree tether? what sizes do you use?
 
I bought a double braid from R & W rope. It's what they stock for tree stand safety line. I pretty easily spliced my own eye, fast shipping too.
