I know most of you guys hunt saddles but i thought maybe i could tap into your exoertise and see if anyone has any siggestions for a linemans belt mod for the BD bod harness. I followed DIY sportsmans mod for his harness and used 1" tubular webbing with and insert of 11mm rope for structure. The issue isnt the strength, it definitely is strong enough. The issue is how to attach it to the harness so it stays in place and does its job. I ran it through the rated loop in the back and then zip tied it to the gear loops just to keep it in place but while i was climbing today one of the zip ties broke and the webbing began to shift more and was a challenge to keep in the proper orientation. Amy suggestions would be appreciated

Weird, I did the same thing and haven't had any issues with it. You could try a sewing awl and put some stitches to hold it in place, another loop on each end? Not sure...

Thicker stronger zip ties &/or more zip ties

Might try stronger zip ties, they shouldn't be holding any weight
