It seems most people are moving the versa button down to where the second step is and putting the double step where the versa button once was

This makes the step spacing at 21 1/2 inches.

Concerned that in thick clothes that’s going to be a long step ,especially at dark.

Has anyone done a different cut down to give smaller spacing or is 21 1/2 inches not too bad. I’m 5 ‘8”.

The muddy pro steps are at 18” spacing and are pretty easy to reach but after simulating 3 1/2 more inches , it seems like it could be a stretch.

Thanks

Go put your winter clothes on, strap a full stick to the tree. Step on bottom step, then try to step up an amount that is comfy. In 3 minutes you’ll know exactly how far to cut your sticks down!

Good deal. I’m gonna go ahead and cut them.
With aid of lineman’s belt, should be fine

Thanks
