Looking for a new rangefinder

I have a $50 gift card for D-Sporting goods. I need to buy a new range finder and was looking at the Vortex impact 1000. They have it on sale for $199. Does anyone have any feedback on this. It will only be used for my bow hunting. Nothing really long distance.

I have used the same vortex rangefinder for the last three years. Very pleased with it. Unsure of the exact model, but I think it is a “something 1300”. Has never given me any issues at all.

Vortex makes quality range finder. I got an impact 1000 this year...great range finder...It’s got black crosshairs so low light may be an issue , but I’ve never felt it impacted me.

I have a Bushnell that has served me well (3X magnification). A lot of the newer rangefinders are 6X magnification which I don't see the point of if you are using it for archery. The only upside might be it would double as a monocular, but at the price of fast target acquisition. A 6X is unneeded and counterproductive for shots under 50 yards.

I have 2 vortex impact 1000
Had one for the last 2 hunting seasons
Just bought another not long ago
Can’t go wrong with a company that offers a warranty like vortex
