I'm fascinated by saddle hunting since hearing about it about a month ago. I've watched all the videos, read all the reviews and just finished my letter to Santa asking for a setup for next year.

However, I have yet to see one in person.

I've been trying to purchase a setup (CraigsList, eBay, Facebook marketplace, this site, etc.) and have struck out (just missed one on Marketplace and Craigslist and got outbid on eBay) each time.

I live in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Anyone near me want to meet me and do a show-n-tell?

Even better: Anyone near me want to do an instructional and then let me borrow their saddle hunting setup until November 18th?
 
I have a kestrel and some trophy line saddles along with multiple climbing methods if you ever want to check out...in Grand Rapids areas and hunt as Far East as flat river state game
 
I'm in Goodrich, not far from you. Nothing ready yet to loan out but I have a couple things I could show you. Bear in mind, I'm a newbie too (to saddles). I have a custom Sit Drag and rock climbing harness as well as a DIY Kestrel clone. Sold my Mantis and will be ordering one when they are all caught up. I also have a DIY platform and multiple styles of climbing sticks - some with amsteel rope mod and some with straps.
