LW stick mod - straight or angled double steps?

Going to add double steps to the top of my LW sticks. Can't decide between the straight or the angled step. I'm sure it's probably more personal preference then anything, BUT are there any advantages of one vs the other??

Seems to me that the angled steps might help with stability a bit, especially at slight angles. Also I imagine there’s a less chance if slipping if your boots are wet or muddy, like when you push off to go to the next step for instance.
