Mad Rock Lifeguard on Samson Predator 11.4mm?

Has anyone tried running a Mad Rock Lifeguard on the Samson Predator 11.4mm line? I'm currently running the Samson Mercury 11mm through it, and it works pretty nice, BUT I do know that the Lifeguard is "technically" rated for 8.9-11mm diameter line... How much of a difference is that 0.4mm going to make? Trying to get into a stealthier color pattern, and possibly a softer rope for hunting. I would continue to use and abuse my Mercury for practicing, etc...
