Make it make sense

I read a thread I think on here about using paracord as a weight tube. Tested that and bumped the GPI was up. Ended with a 550gr TAW. I'll give the weedeater string a try as well.
Weedeater line will need to be glued or epoxied in. Otherwise, it will blow your nocks off and come out the back.

Was trying to remember back to when I added some line to some carbons but seems like a 12" piece added about 100 grains. That could very easily be off though. I done slept 4 or 5 times since then.

I think 400s with 175-200gr up front would be about right. 600s at 30" sounds crazy weak for 47# on a bow that's cut close to center. I don't even shoot 600s out of my 45# longbows that are cut way before center.

The easiest and first thing to do if you think you're weak: build the strike plate out an 1/8 inch or so at a time. Shoot it. If it's better, you were weak. If it's the same, it's your shooting. Easy test to do and reveals a lot.

The way I like to do it, pick the weight of the broadheads you want to shoot and tune with that weight and stick with it.
