Just got these in the mail today. I did quite a bit of research and because this company sells direct, their prices are much lower than other companies and their quality is top notch. From all the reviews online, their C-series (which start at $325) are equal to or even better than other company's binoculars that fall into the $600-$800 price range.

However, I was able to get this pair 10% off ($292) because I bought a pair that they use with their demo program. As you can see from the pictures, there's not a scratch on them and it still comes with their unconditional, lifetime warranty. Can't wait to put them to work!

I did alot of research as well on these. At the time I couldn't flip the bill but I hope to add a pair to my arsenal soon. I hope they work well for you. Buying a demo is a great idea to save some dough

I got the 10x42 C1’s and LOVE them. Great glass for the money!

Yeah, I contemplated getting the 10’s but I spoke with someone from Maven and because I primarily hunt wooded areas (some times fairly dense woods), they recommended the 8’s because of the larger field-of-view.

Will more than likely get a set of 10’s at some point because I do want to make a point to occasionally hunt out west.

What’s your thoughts on using yours in wooded areas? Any challenges with the FOV, or not really?

I've always used 10's but can see where 8's for tight timber would be nice. I used mine in Wyoming last year on a tripod and I glassed with that setup WAY more than my spotter. I was picking up mule deer at over 1000 yards away in seconds while my buddies were still setting up their spotters lol. It was a killer setup for that!
