I just received my mantis I tried it out yesterday. I'm 6.1 and weight 165lbs. I ordered a large. It is not as comfortable as every one talks about I don't believe. Idk if I'm doing something wrong I have the micro adjusters also. I could use if for a few hours but not a all day sit that's for sure. I was wearing thin shorts Idk if that had something to do with it. Can any one give me some help on making it more comfortable it bothers me on the back of my legs.
 
I’m 5,10” 175, have a large , new saddle user here, took some fiddling to find what made comfortable, 1st time or two was like what ur saying
 
I have the platform and ring of steps, they definitely take different adjustments to get the comfort
 
Are you using a platform or ring of steps? Tether height? Several things can effect comfort. Another big thing is “saddle shape”. It’s a real thing and if you have never sat in a saddle it takes your body a bit to adjust to it.

Also, what is your waist size? I’m guessing a medium would have been the better option. I can’t get as comfy in a large and I’m roughly 175lbs with a 32” waist

I have a 35 waist also. I went with a large for later in the season in I have multiple layers on maybe that's where I messed up. And I'm using the platform in the above picture. I really like it

Look into a JX3 hybrid saddle. If you cannot sit in that all day you need medical attention.
