Modding Ameristeps

I think I saw that referenced in the "Calling all Ameristep user's" thread. Maybe @Nutterbuster?

I'm curious myself, though I'm not sure I can bring myself to cut mine!

Yep, I cut the wings off of one.

It makes them stack somewhat better, bit not nearly as well as something like an API or squirrel step. You also lose the stability that the wings provide, and a little strength.
 
I think the wings are the best part. I kept one set of ameristeps to let new people try. For me The spongy feel of thinner steps takes some getting used to.
