I put some glow in the dark duck tape on my EZV. I want be shooting anything in the pitch black dark but if I could see thru my peep and see my target I might be able to shoot it.

How long will the glow last? And what does it look like in daylight?

Not sure how long the glow will last. I used permanent marker to color my tick marks and they are bigger than I like for them to be. I'm outside shooting now and plan on shooting right at dark this evening.

This is my first year to try out. What did you use for vertical line?

That's a piece of flo green bow serving material. It helps with left and right that I was getting. When shooting my deer target I run it up the back side of the front leg.

I measured and found center of ring at top and bottom and then took a sharp knife and pressed down into plastic at top and bottom making a very small shallow grove in ring. Held string in place and pushed ring back into sight housing and then cut off tag ends hanging out back of housing with knife. Yes you can still frame vitals.

Not to be a downer, but double-check the legality of glowing sights in your state. Some states are very specific about what kind of “illumination” is allowed or prohibited on your sights. This might not pass muster in my state, but it’s definitely a call to the DNR before I shoot something with it. I had to remove the lightbulb from my sight the moment I installed it because of illegality. Most places this is probably fine, but checking never hurt anyone. It’s an awesome idea though.

What would you say your accuracy is with it compared to a traditional bow sight

Yea, I've heard of that in some states. Glad it isn't here

I was super skeptical at first, but it actually does work? but I feel I can put one in kill zone5- 40-50 yards out with out having to worry about ranging or holdovers.

Where I hunt I cant shoot past 40yds most of the time. Using the tic marks I can shoot it as accurately as a regular sight I just have an open view of what I'm aiming at.
