Hey guys new to the forum...
Also new to saddle hunting, has anyone done any type of mods to the predator platform at all? And if so what type? Also.. I have lone wolf sticks and thinking about shortening them down... ideas on that as well??

Other than the camo sponge paint job . . . .

I replaced the stock strap with an amsteel daisy chain immediately. I'm just not a fan of the noisy metal strap clamps. The daisy chain has worked well for me. I believe others are using a Hys strap type attachment as well.

I also taped a piece of a tongue depressor onto the post where the adjustment screw hits to quiet that contact point down. It needs to be replaced a couple of times a year but it's easy to do so I don't mind.

Oh, and Welcome from northern Michigan!

Sweet thanks!! I thought about putting one of them cabinet door felt things where the bolt goes

Also painted and replaced strap with 1/8 Amsteel daisy, and wrapped the edge with paracord to reduce noise. Recently replaced the standoff with one from Doublesteps.com. Haven’t tested it yet but looks like I’ll get a lot better contact with the tree vs the stock standoff.

Painted, paracord wrapped, and then added one of those small furniture felt pads (the ones about the size of a nickel) where the adjustment screw makes contact with the post.

Has anyone cut down the lone wolf sticks???

I haven’t tackled those yet. I did cut down a set of hawks, and have some lone wolf stick I’m thinking about shortening but won’t have time until the off season. I know there are some here who have done it.

I ended up doing them last night!! It’s quite simple. Only takes about 10-15 min a stick
