Has anyone used the muddy pro sticks with saddle hunting. If so what’s the pros/cons of them?

Everyone has.
They used to be the best stick out there. Recently have had a lot of quality issues. Guys who like folding steps love them guys who can’t find the have hawks.

I have a set of 2018 muddy pros. I only have a few practice climbs with them and one all day hunt, but here are my thoughts.

Pros
Cam cleat is fast and you can set a stick in 5 or 10 seconds tops.

They're already around the length that most people cut their sticks to.

Cons
I don't find that they stack very well.

There's more play in the step than I would like. I don't really notice it until I'm on the top step setting my tether, but it's not a comforting feeling.

Muddy s are nice to use but a couple pounds heavier (per 4 pack) than advertised
