Muddy pro stick rope?

Just received my muddy stick and was woundering if anyone has replaced the rope with a longer one. How is the rope attached and what kind of rope is used?
 
Just a knot. Muddys rope is 9mm. If you buy their 30' lifeline, its the same rope. I switched mine to a larger static rope (11mm?). Worked well, but was heavy.
 
On the set I just received I believe it is a knot but it is also glued.

I replaced mine with muddy safeline when the original rope got worn. Cut it a little longer and liked it. Recently started trying Amsteel and an overhand knot directly on the backside of the cam. Have been jumping on it and working to get it loose and no slippage. Gonna try it for this season I think.
