Ok, I finally finished these up. I think they turned out well. Still waiting on my weights to show up, I decided to go with 5/16 threaded weights instead of washers. Carbon fiber from dragonplate.com. Tube end weld nuts from McMaster Carr. I made 4 stabilizers from a 48” section of carbon fiber tubing. 2x 10” carbon to carbon; 1x 8” c-c: 1x 20” c-c. I think if I did it differently I would go with 6-8” for my shorter length as the longer might be cumbersome in the woods. The 20” is for my target bow.

Thank you. Pretty simple. Thanks to Garrett at DIY sportsman for the inspiration and equipment list. Having aluminum connectors would be nice to lighten the load and concentrate the weight up front. Otherwise pretty fun project and makes a functional and economical setup
