Been playing around with different climbing methods, and wanted to try an aider on with my WE stepps. Was gonna buy ine, but I already had a roll of 1" nylon webbing here at the house, so I decided to try making my own. Pretty happy with the way it turned out. The space between steps is a little uneven, but I made this with one continuous piece of webbing, with no stitching to worry about failing. Tied four water knots and stitched in some short lengths of 8mm rope to keep the steps open. It folds up small enough to fit in my pocket, so that's pretty cool Im pretty proud of it, so I just wanted to share. Hopefully I can try it out tomorrow. BTW, I found that Shoe Goo works great for dabbing on the finish knot once you're done with the Speedy Stitcher.
