I am new to this but I am finally at a point where I want to dive in, and I've made some purchases.
I hate getting on the ground with everything unpacked to find that I really need some piece of equipment that I hadn't thought on. Also if there are things that just make life easier or the flatten the curve, please let me know. Please Help me round out my set up, Here is what I have ordered so far.

Tethrd Phantom Saddle
Tethrd Lineman Belt
Tethrd Tree Tether
Predator Platform
Wild Edge Step (5)
JC Knaider/Swaider
2 Molle Dump Bags
2 Extra Climbing Carabiners
5 SClip Carabiners

Looks like a pretty solid start to me. I'd keep the Knaider/Swaider in the package until you're sure about the rest. It's an advanced technique and maybe something you will want to master, but you could just as easily hang a couple of times and decide to go SRT. Good call going right for the Predator – that's such an important piece and not worth skimping on. I doubt you'll regret it. Good luck!

I'm new to saddle hunting also. Last year was my first year and the ropeman 1 on your linesman belt makes climbing so much easier. Having one on your tether also enambles you to make quick adjustments for approaching deer.

Make sure you have a gear/bow hanger and a pull up rope! I know this is basic but I see a lot of guys not think about the "at hunting height" part!

Also think about how you are going to carry everything in. Predator pack, back pack, Fanny pack, etc.

Last season was my first with a saddle. I did learn to have a few extras of some certain items. Ropes, carabiners and Ropemans or cord for connection. Seems really small and petty but they don’t take much space and saved a hunt for me.
Also a gear management system for when in the tree.
