Mystery Ranch Metcalf

Anyone have one of these they want to review? I’m in the market for a pack to take on a potential back country elk hunt and or deer hunt.

I have no experience but I am In The same boat as you are. I have it narrowed down to the mystery ranch Metcalf and the Exo mountain grear 3500. I'm leaning towards the Exo.

I just looked at the exo 3500. Pretty sweet. Tough decision. I have the mystery ranch pop up 28 and love it. It carries weight great so not sure myself.

I've had MR guidelight frame with a Metcalf bag and an EXO k2 with several different bags. EXO wins for me between those two but still not my first choice.

Whatever fits you best. For me its the Kifaru Lite. Still want to try a SG.

Might be a dumb question but how are you trying all these packs on? Up in the Northeast you would be luck to find any of these companies in stock. Are you buying, trying and selling what you don’t like? Just curious.

That's a huge problem with ecommerce right? All these great pack companies and you have to basically pick based on mostly fanboy reviews that aren't really reviews and guessing at what attributes will work for you.
