New guy here from central MO, originally from WV. I am retired Air Force and made my home here in the Fort Leonard Wood area. Been a deer hunter all my life, and hunt multiple setups. Saddle hunting has intrigued me for awhile, so I ordered my first saddle kit on Friday, got a trophyline on the way.

I have a LW handclimber, that I may use some to try put for a climbing method and platform, but the stand is perfect for other setups I have. I also have a set of muddy pro sticks, that I plan on being my main saddle climbing method, and for now use a ring of steps for a platform.

I'm learning alot from reading these forums, and sure I will learn a bunch more.

I'll be looking at platform options this winter, and save enough to buy once and not regret it. I make and sell custom made deer, turkey and predator calls to finance my outdoor activities, if anyone needs anything done.
