Hello All! I am a new saddle hunter from the northern part of lower Michigan. I really enjoy reading the knowledge shared from all on this forum. I am looking forward to getting out hunting in my Mantis (well worth the order delay) and predator platform this year.

I have been experimenting with different climbing methods and am amazed at the level of knowledge of the members on this site. My brain is full of ideas and my wallet is empty thanks to this site :tearsofjoy:

Welcome from the Boyne area! Where are you located at?

Edit: I always blame @g2outdoors as well but you (@DanO) and @Nutterbuster are starting to run a close second.

I live and hunt near Cadillac area, I love the Boyne area. I hunt on one of our farms in Petoskey area and you cant beat a great sunrise in northern MI!

:tearsofjoy: (@DanO)Squirrel steps are on my radar!

Welcome again. Its good to hear of some more "local" saddle hunters here in the northern end of the LP.

Welcome aboard! Our family deer camp is in Mesick. Fun place to hunt!
I have a couple chunks of family property in Mesick. Both my parents were from there. I grew up in Traverse and used to spend a lot of time hunting in the area. We were just camping down there a couple of weeks ago for our family reunion. Small world.

Nice! I went to NMC in Traverse. My folks still live in Michigan but I don’t get back nearly enough. I try to get back to hunt up there every couple of years or so. Nothing like “up north”.
