Just wanted to make my first post. I am from SW PA. 5 mins from the WV line. This is my first year being 100 percent mobile with a hang on and I was able to harvest 2 bucks in PA and Ohio. This past month I have really been looking into buying a saddle. It seems like it would work well for some of the steep hills and mountains I walk through. I know this question comes up a lot on the forums and what not. But I think I have my heart set on a Mantis, just not 100 percent on size. I’m 5’8 and weight around 165-170#. Size 33 waist. I am thinking a medium from looking at the sizing chart but not sure. Just wanting some other opinions.

Welcome. I'm from Fayette County originally.

Welcome from Westmoreland County. I drive past you on my way to hunt Ohio. My Kestrel and Predator served me well down there this year.
I'm about your size...I like my Kestrel...my buddy has a Mantis. I like mine better, but saddles are pretty much suited to the individual. What works best for one guy might not be the best choice for the next guy.

Welcome! Sorry I don't have any input on your saddle size, I use a tree saddle. I will likely be getting another saddle this coming summer to play with. You could probably post the same question in another forum, like "anything saddle related", if you don't hear anything here. Again, welcome aboard!

Welcome from Belmont county..... I think u spot on using a saddle. Hunting this area is one of the main reason I started saddle hunting.
