Hi guys, I wanted to make this post to introduce myself. My name is Chris I am a retired Firefighter/ Paramedic. I have been hunting on and off for a while. I wanted to give saddle hunting a try to hopefully make it a bit easier on me. I have a bad back which caused me to have to retire much earlier than I wanted. Good news is I have plenty of time to hunt but bad part is things tend to be very painful. Last year I hunted 100% public land and did so with my Lone wolf sticks and Lone wolf Alpha stand which got heavy quick with my back. I am a bigger guy at 6' and 265lbs. I have ordered a Tethered Mantis XL saddle and Predator platform and cant wait for it to get here. I want to thank everyone on here for all the info I have already read and for answering any questions I may have in the future.
