Hi everyone! I've been looking at the forum and reading some threads and you Guys sound like a group of guys, some of the modifications you guys have done are impressive. I'm just not that creative. However I would like to give saddle hunting a fair shake. I tried the trophy line saddle about ten years ago and felt it was to restricting, so I went back to using the tree stand.

I would like to try something more simple like the anderson sling. I will probably modify the bridge and tree strap a little bit though.

If you guys have any advice on where I could find an anderson sling or of someone has one they would be willing to sell I would be interested.

I don't think I'm crafty enough to sew one myself. :)

Thanks guys!! Yeah G2 I have a sit drag that I'm using right now and I will probably use it until I can get my hands on an anderson sling. I think I'm gonna like this system especially for the long hikes in.

That's where ultralight saddles really shine!

Shaun is right, they don't come available that often. Have you looked at the SitDrag?

Does anyone else think that G2 gets a commission on sitdrag sales???
You are definitely their biggest fan and best spokesperson!

Welcome JWP. BTW... I have the least artistic/craft ability of anyone you ever met. But I plan to sew one myself. And trust my life to it.

Guilty as charged. I love my 3 SitDrags. But no... $0 commission dollars here.

I'm thinking of another shirt idea!
On front:
I hang from a sitdrag!

On back:
Because G2 said so!

And we can have a pic of G2 in the tree with sitdrag and Essdub looking up at him from the ground with his custom coontail saddle.

Haha. That's funny.
Coontail saddle? Now THAT'S an idea! Natural camo all the way, baby

Shaun
And quiet with cover scent built in! lol You can even skin the male coon tails up a little higher and have a nice little built in storage pouch!

Yes sir. These are the kinds of ideas that make my day. Coon sack pouch, coontail saddle, if I get my moccasins to work right, I can have a completely natural vibe. I've heard of people making toothpicks of possum penis, but I ain't ready for that one yet
