I received a Kestrel harness from New Tribe on Wednesday and I must say that with the help of Mr. Bobby Boswell, they made it about as perfect as they could.

The Kestrel kit version will be much easier for a new harness user to figure out as it doesn't have as many straps as an Evolution. The leg and waist adjustment buckles and quite heavy duty and the caribeaner is unique as well.

For those already well versed in harness use, the Kestrel seat by itself (lower price point of $225) is what they would use as they can use their own personal preference when it comes to their personal bride lead length, lead strap lengths and adjustment designs, and safety climbing strap lengths and adjustment designs.

The seat is extremely form fitting and comfortable and the 2 sets of heavy fabric loops on either side are in the perfect positions with the bridge strap loops having out of the way additional length adjustment buckles on each side.

I won't switch from the hybrid harness I designed but if I had to choose from anything that's ever been in the marketplace concerning hunting harnesses, the Kestrel would be it.

I'm sure everyone on this site will be more than helpful as they always have been, when it comes to helping new harness user as I think this will cause a stir in the marketplace concerning hunting from trees.

Have a great Labor Day weekend.
