New Years Wish List And Resolutions

Tmattson I will pray that you will be medically fit by April. My resolutions are to get in better shape and to be more committed to shooting my long bow out of a saddle. Hope all has a very blessed 2021

Hopefully by April or May Doctors will medically classify me as in remission from MDS cancer, April 30 will be 1 year mark of my stem-cell BMT.
Try to live by the model (not sure who coined it) - "don't sweat the small stuff, and its all small stuff". Something like that anyway.
Happy new year everyone!
Praying for you brother!!

My New Years Resolutions are many and varied. My most important one is my continued relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe now more than ever I need to continue to get closer to him. I have a commitment to read more from the Bible and from other related information. From a hunting and saddle hunting standpoint to stay in shape and to do even more scouting and saddle climbing and practicing. I also have a personal commitment to go to the T2C system. From a scouting perspective, I'm going to concentrate on getting out there even more now and finding sign and likely set up areas and specifically picking trees on public based on this sign. I also want to target more bucks and plan on saturating areas with my trail cams to get an idea of the bucks still available before they drop antlers.

What is the T2C system?

Might sound dumb but finally dial in my climbing and stand choices for the long haul so I can stop worrying about it and focus more on where to hunt/quality of the hunt. For the last 2 seasons been trying to find what I really want in my gear and then stick with it. Guess it’s just a mental thing.

Then from there, more scouting and cyber scouting (picked that up pretty good in the last year but went to continue to increase it). Would also like to venture out to farther away areas in my state and open up some new doors hopefully. Oh yeah and start trying to get permission on some private pieces of land.

My wish list is. A hunt from a WMA with a big buck kill with bow and in my saddle.(not wishing for much am I). Build a one stick with foldable bottom step, standoffs and adjustable angle foldable platform for the top all in one. My resolutions are to be a better Christian, Husband, Father and Hunter, in that order

Hybrid mobile setup, ROS, good frame pack...went 100 percent mobile this year and while I can’t complain harvest wise...go back to pre sets for morning hunts and more summer scouting to get a better handle on early season

Hope and pray you defeat your illness
My plan starting to day is to be 230lbs and back in the same shape I was 10 years ago by the 100th day of 2021
In 2010 I was a 36 waist and 230ish pounds worked out and did some form of cardio regularly
Then I switched from a 7-3:30 M-F physically demanding job to a swing shift crazy all hours and day much less physically demanding maintenance job and couldn't get into a sound healthy eating or exercising routine
Now I hope to change that
My two sons actually prompted me to do this they came across dozens of pictures of me when they were first born and while I was just dating thier mother and were shocked how fit and not fat I looked and was and when I asked them what they wanted for Christmas they went and got a bunch of the pictures and said they wanted that dad back because they want me to live as long as I can so they can have me around as long as they can.
So they informed me we are working out again every other day and are going to be my food Nazi's until I get back into my old previous healthy eating habits before I blew up to 275lbs.
My oldest boy is now as big as me and one is actually bigger at 6'-4" and 275 and he is only 15
