Hi all. Got myself a crossbow 2 years ago and have gotten back into deer hunting after about a 15 year hiatus. Next season will be the first time in a tree. I wish I had started this at a younger age but I think I'll really enjoy this. Anxiously awaiting my orders for a kestrel saddle, predator platform, and WE stepps. Also picked up some squirrel steps to use as a rifle/crossbow hanger and to use along with the predator.

Welcome from Washington county Wisconsin! You will enjoy the saddle experience.

Just make sure you practice plenty with the WE steps. There is a little learning curve with them. Also make sure you stretch out the ropes before climbing too high as you may get one shift if you don't. Just tighten them up on a tree and let them sit for an hour or two. Then tighten and cam it over again. Do it several times.

I really love the WE steps. They are all I used to climb last year and as a platform. Once the rope is stretched, they are as solid as anything out there.
