Obviously it is not the best picture and for some reason my original picture will not load but here it is. I went to LA police gear.com and found this all some waistwrap with Mollie Webbing. I'm going to have to finalize on exactly how it attaches To the set drag it self but so far so good. It allows me to wear it around my kidneys and place to sit drag lower then I would without it and makes it a good bit more comfortable. I think this thing was 20 bucks but it seems the same quality gear that I carried while I was in Afghanistan. The Mali attachment Capabilities are definitely a plus. For pretty much $50 this thing is amazing.

Looks nice! How is it attached to your bridge. Do you feel it is strong enough to hold your weight if it moved down far enough to sit on it? Not that that is the point you have it just wondering. I've been wondering if you could use something like this or two sit drags to make something similar to a flex. You think there would be any advantage to adding elastic between them like the guys modifying the flex?

Digging this, sweet idea for a back band.

I ran a similar setup using two sit drags with easy having their own bridge. @ImThere used a similar setup to yours but incorporated linesman’s loops into the waist belt.

My waist belt comes today and that's what I was going to try - an integrated inner belt with lineman loops. The waist belt has sections of molle and I can run the lineman loops so they come off the hips. Then I'll suspend the Wraptor from the waist belt.

Yep @EricS you’re correct. I ran my lineman through the Molle and used it to climb most of the time I would leave the sit drag in my bag until I got to hunting height. I eventually had some straps and buckles sewn in and I loved it. it Was very comfortable
Like this: sorry for the bad drawing the red represents where I had the straps I could adjust the straps in and out for comfort. I think having the straps across it actually helped keep it open.

Without a doubt. I have a new sitdrag I need the straps sewn back on but yessir. I’m actually getting ready to build 3 complete setups. Not sure why I need three but I have 3 sitdrags, 3 Molle waist belts so I’m going to have 2 more linesman belts sewed up.
I have gotten used to the Kestrel. But I really don’t think it will be my go to.

When I used two sit drags they were really comfortable. The comfort I got from the kestrels was in climbing. Not so much the hanging. I’ve tried some climbing methods in the kestrel that I wouldn’t attempt in the sit drag. I’ve got a couple more also but when I want to try something that I feel is borderline stupid I grab the kestrel.

Sorry for the lull. I ran an old tree stand teather through it like a belt all I can wear it and keep my sit drag up as well as keep it tight. After I get my teather and bridge hooked up, I loosen the belt and attach it like my bridge. Once I get someone who can sew , I'll be in business. It's pretty padded so I liked this idea over another sit drag.

It would for sure be strong enough

Here’s the thread to the linesman’s belt he got from Ernie. I’m pretty sure that is the same one he later threaded through the waist belt to get the final product.

I like it. I tried the setup at the first saddlepalooza a few years ago. He used it to climb with and as back support once in the saddle.
Yeah this is similar to what I'm using. Its from a tree stand harness so it's suppose to work but I got my ropes there if it did fail.

Dang it! Got my hybrid today, tried it out, then then found myself sewing up an oversized sit drag and ordering a battle belt...please make it stop!!!! Like idea of the straps, guess like the Evo and perhaps some 2” elastic to join them in front. Or maybe just the elastic instead of straps and figure a way to “tie” them together on a single bridge.
